Life's a Beach

We finally decided it was about time for Jacee-Kay to meet the sand crabs, the birds, and the ocean waves for the very first time. We spent the day soaking up the sun, sand, and ocean water while skipping naps and eating endless amounts of cookies, donuts, and shrimp. Some would say we are crazy. Others would say we have lost our minds. We can justify our behaviour as parents by saying that these are just the things we remembered loving the most about our family vacations.

Blakelynne loved the sound of the beach waves. She found it soothing.

The First Father's Day

Yesterday was the very first Father's Day for our Doug. Or should we say Father's/Dougie Day, as Jacee-Kay likes to call Doug "my Dougie". The day was filled with hamburgers, hotdogs, diet dr. pepper, swimming, and family. The perfect sunny June Day.
