July 4, 2012

My girls are absolutely loving the summer.
We have been so busy this year, with what, I could not say exactly.
Jacee-Kay is experiencing her first year of College Station Summer Day Camp.
They are seriously swimming every other day, and field trip on the other days.
She comes home tired, a little cranky, crazy hair, and a little sweaty sometimes.
I'm just so happy she is having the SUMMER of her life though.

We have enjoyed snow cones, the lake, swimming pool bliss, popsicles, flip flops, and
Sunday family dinner nights together.
Here lately we have been making alot of homemade pizza's,
and the kids are loving making their very own pizza for dinner.

Fourth of July was no exception for fun though.
We had sparklers, lake swimming time, and long leisurely naps.  ;)

In the evening Daddy and Uncle Joe put on an awesome fire work show, and it only gets better every year.  Blakey kept looking at the fireworks and exclaiming "Look Mommy- Disney!"

I didn't have the heart to tell her that Disney was more than fireworks, and definitely couldn't tell her we were not at Disney!!!!

I was so impressed the loud booming of the fire crackers did not bother her,
and she was so great when the show started.

Jacee-Kay of course just loved every second of the day and night, especially staying up late,
which is all time favorite thing to do right now.
I mean the summer is for skipping bed time.  Right?!
