It's Summertime. Sweet Summertime

Jacee-Kay and her expressions.
She will from time to time have this cute little scowl going on.
I love it. Every since she was a baby she has been just a little bit more stubborn than the normal, everyday child.
And, she's still my baby girl too.
With that little look of 'I don't know how I feel about that...yet."

Of course she is on the verge of laughter in this picture.
Still, this is a typical Jacee-Kay Puh-LEASE take a picture for mommy photo:

When she does smile, she absolutely lights up anyone around her.

She has a vivacious personality.

We made it halfway to the park when we came to the realization that Jacee-Kay did not have enough air in her tires to really be able to ride her bike. mmmm....and of course the inevitable, "Mommy, I need a potty break bit."

I just also have to point out here that the shirt Jacee-Kay is wearing is her favorite and she pretty much wears it right after I've washed it. I can't seem to take it off of her. =] It lives in the laundry room more than in her closet.

We turned around and headed back home (holding it in all the way)....

but we're glad we did.

We convinced a certain someone to come to the park with us!! =]

Of course, Doug didn't need much convincing.

He loves the park as much as the sweet ones do.

And, just in case you're wondering we finally did make it to the park that day.

As High As The Sky....

By the time we walked home later that day, Jacee-Kay couldn't even ride her bicycle.

She had to get in the stroller because she was so tired.

Poor darling.
