Jacee-Kay Graduates Pre-K

There is something to be said about the definition of a cupcake in our house.
It must mean there's a party around the corner...
esspecially if I use the special cupcake wrappers.
(Little does anyone know I pick these up at T.J. Maxx for five dollars...yes seriously)

Of course, I have only once attempted homemade cupcakes...they turned out okay, but the cake mix in a box is just as good I think, and so much faster.

So making cupcakes is more or less about the presentation for us, more importantly Miss Jacee-Kay.
Oh, and how excited is she to bring a snack for friends to school!?

Of course, I made these for Jacee-Kay's graduation, however Ms. Blakelynne kept stealing bites off the buffet table when the adults had their backs turned.
I have my hands full! ;)

I know these pictures didn't turn out that great...wrong setting!! dadgummit! But she still looks just as gorgeous I think.

And of course, her cupcakes madame:

I loved the stars hanging from the ceiling just before you walked into the classroom before the ceremony. It just seemed school housey to me.

I wanted to get a picture of Jacee-Kay before the ceremony began, but I walked to the back to check up on her to only see that her hair was in a disaray, and her face had dirt smudges. Typical for her. She LOVES playing outside with her friends, of course I had to laugh and help her clean up just a little bit. Needless to say, I was so worried about her looking clean, that I forgot the real reason I went back there in the first place: just one picture. That's ok though, because I will always have the picture in my mind though of my little playful, smudgy, five year old sweetie.

I would also like to point out that Jacee-Kay had some helpful instructions on what she wanted to wear for school this morning, and how she wanted to fix her hair...I gave in on the hair...but I don't know how I'm gonna make it through the teenage years, if this is just a small glimpse of the future...

I just cannot speak enough about how grateful I am that Jacee-Kay found some great friends at Peas in a Pod. We are so blessed for her classmates...

Esspecially this handsome five year old, Brayden:

Yay!! And Maw Maw and Paw Paw got to come!

Jacee-Kay was so excited to see them! And so was I!!=]

And just look at all the wonderful friends and family who sent her gifts.

I've never heard of a more special day!!

Definately the most exciting day for Miss Jacee.

She got more flowers in one day, than I believe I've ever gotten in my life!! =]

Ok, our one picture... We need more pictures right?!

See, told ya, this girl had more presents than she knew what to do with! She is so grateful though and made space for each and everyone! =]

And one of my favorites, Jacee-kay and her Grammy! I love this!

Grammy got Jacee-Kay the sweetest book ever. It's called the Kissing Hand, and it is just precious. I love this book. Thank you Grammy!!
